The past year has been eventful to say the least..

Graduated from the Commercial college of Iceland

graduation trip to Costa del Sol

Made probably the best decision of my life and moved to Colorado for 4 months. Made friends for life from all over the world

Went to NYC

Turned 20 finally

Went to Liverpool to meet up with some of my friends from last summer

And so many other wonderful things.

Thank you for a great year. Now I'm just excited for all the adventures we will embark on this year..

Butterflies and hurricanes

I was feeling creative..

I decided to put 3 photos up on my bedroom wall..

first one is off a leaved tree,

second is off a tornado,

and the third one is off a leave less tree

Sort of like a story. 

The main idea is: disasters or events may change you but they won't brake you down.

After that I cut out a few butterflies. This part did take a wile. 

And now I've put it all together and I think it looks good.

Birthday bash

Last night I celebrated my 20th birthday with a few of my closest friends.

For dinner I made garlic parmesan chicken, a melon salad and sweet potato chips. Turned out really good.

Winter Wonderland

It's been snowing a lot the past week. I love it and it sure makes my job more fun. Getting paid for playing with snow sleds and for building snow forts.. let's just say I really don't mind that at all.

Today me and my family have been moving horses. The weather was cold and truly magnificent. Took some photos;

Tonight I'm staying in watching La vita é bella..

Nothing else on the agenda. It's too cold to go out and about, at least for my liking.

Tonight I’ve been feeling a little bit drowsy. After a long day at work and an acupuncture session all I wanted to do was lie down.

And you know what? That was precisely what I did.

I curled up in my bed with a lovely book..

Munched on some almond chocolate chip cookies that I made yesterday..

And listened to Bob Dylan..

And now I feel more relaxed than I have for quite some time. 

The Icelandic Santa clauses

I realized something today.

I will be absolutely intolerable until Christmas.

I get more and more excited with every day that passes. I’ve even started baking, making cards and spend my days in work doodling Santa clauses and reindeer's.

Can you keep a secret?

I’ve even started listening to Christmas music.

This is of course a terrible thing. And it will only get worse I’m afraid. Especially because now my job description includes being in charge of all art work at my department in the kindergarten. This December I will be covered in glitter glue with filt angles on my mind. And the absolutely worst part is. I think it’s fantastic!
